six word stories

This is a collection of short stories consisting of just six words. This #SixWordStory is a "thing" on social media.
"For sale: baby shoes, never worn." is the entirety of what has been described as a six-word novel, making it an extreme example of what is called flash fiction or sudden fiction. Although it is often attributed to ErnestHemingway, the link to him is unsubstantiated and similar stories predate him.
Snopes says nope. It is an urban legend.
Huffington Post says:
These abridged yarns do not fall into one genre, or even one tone, their only similarities being their strict adherence to the mandatory word limit. Some anecdotes are funny, some are introspective and others are down right heartbreaking.
Lyn Coffin says:
A lot of people use a lot more than six words to talk about the #SixWordStory.
