A Trash Can
Yesterday, I posted a picture to the Facebook Group "View from My Window." It went viral and got over 6.000 likes, about 500 comments and 30 shares. (It's still ongoing.) Here is the original post:
This is the only view from my only window, and I love it. I'm staying at my son and daughter-in-law's house in Seattle in the guest room in the basement. This is the most beautiful view because I am staying with them for as long as it takes. I am glad and grateful to be here and not alone in room quarantine in my retirement community. Here's to FAMILY!. - Lyn C. Seattle,
The response, from all around the world, made me really grateful that there are so many people in the world who took time out of their day, especially in such a stressful time, to reach out to a stranger with encouraging words. That gave me the courage to decide to publish here my epistolary autobiographical novella, Tinder. Every day I will post one section of the novella (an email or two) here, along with relevant pictures. I thank you for tuning in. Your feedback is always welcome. Tinder (as a whole) will be published by Serotonin Press later this year.
Stay safe! Stay strong! Come back!
